Overview

In this role you will lead the AI-enabled testing strategy for a Kubernetes-based software platform spanning instruments, applications, and shared services. You will design and implement AI-native test frameworks, govern AI-assisted testing in regulated environments, and drive adoption across product teams. You will shape testability-by-design and ensure auditability and compliance while accelerating safe software delivery. This is a hands-on senior individual-contributor position focused on building a durable automation and governance layer for AI-accelerated testing.

Responsabilidades

- Lead AI SDLC adoption for quality engineering and scale AI-assisted test authoring, execution, and maintenance
- Build AI-native test frameworks and workflows that generate unit, contract, integration, and E2E tests from specifications
- Integrate enterprise tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Qodo, Diffblue, Playwright AI) into CI/CD quality gates
- Develop evaluation and regression frameworks for AI features, including non-deterministic evaluation and AI observability
- Ensure regulatory compliance and auditability for AI-generated artifacts in validated environments (CSA, GAMP 5, IEC 62304)
- Define platform-wide test architecture standards for Kubernetes-based microservices, environment-as-code, and data strategy




- Specify human-in-the-loop governance, risk-based review checkpoints, and rollback triggers for AI-generated code and tests
- Instrument and report on DORA metrics plus AI-specific measures like coverage delta and defect-escape rate
- Lead the change effort, enablement, and playbooks to drive durable adoption

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years in test architecture or quality engineering architecture roles
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor)
- Deep Kubernetes expertise for test environments (ephemeral namespaces, environment-as-code)
- Experience designing multi-level test automation (unit, contract, integration, E2E, performance)
- CI/CD pipeline and quality gate integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Contract testing experience (Pact) for microservices/API-first architectures
- Proven ability to deliver reusable test frameworks across product teams
- Knowledge of testability-by-design and influencing software architecture for testability
- Experience leading adoption and change with measurable outcomes
