Overview

In this Ventures Analyst role you support the growth of Plug and Play’s energy-focused portfolio and ecosystem in Silicon Valley. You will source relevant startups, assist deal teams on new investments, and collaborate with corporate partners to align tech needs with portfolio opportunities. You’ll build relationships with VCs, universities, and startups while helping surface trends in energy and new materials. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in diligence, market mapping, and program management within a integral innovation platform.

Responsabilidades

- Source startups for energy verticals and general investment opportunities
- Attend calls/meetings with relevant companies and network with industry players
- Manage deal-flow meetings between startups and corporate partners
- Curate startup lists for corporate partners based on technology interests




- Maintain relationships with industry partners and produce trend reports
- Support due diligence, investment recommendations, and portfolio development
- Contribute to program management and operational tasks as needed

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's degree
- Energy-related specialty (Oil and Gas preferred) a plus
- Interest and passion for energy
- Experience with energy or materials projects a plus
- Advanced problem-solving, strategic, analytical thinking
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, CRMs, and project management tools
- Intermediate spreadsheet skills (formulas, dashboards, pivots, analysis)
- Strong communication with C-Suite and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to operate with some ambiguity and a proactive approach
