Overview

In this role you will design and maintain automated, secure solutions that connect enterprise platforms and streamline network and security operations. You will integrate APIs, manage ServiceNow workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce manual work. The position sits in Schneider Digital, supporting global internal and client projects across six hubs, with a focus on scale, security and sustainable impact. You will shape reliable automation at the intersection of automation, electrification and digitization, contributing to a more resilient and efficient IT and network environment.

Responsabilidades

- Design, develop and maintain automation solutions for network and security operations using Python and modular practices
- Build and support REST API integrations between ServiceNow, network/security platforms, cloud services and internal systems
- Develop ServiceNow integrations to manage incidents, requests, changes and configuration data
- Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, PRs, branching strategies, and CI/CD workflows
- Implement secure authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth 2.0, API tokens, certificates, secrets management, RBAC)
- Create robust automation with validation, logging,



error handling, retries, audit trails and monitoring
- Translate requirements into scalable designs, reusable modules and well-documented interfaces
- Troubleshoot workflow failures across APIs, identity services, proxies, gateways, firewalls and target platforms
- Partner with network, cybersecurity, infrastructure, service management and apps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, testing practices and continuous improvement

Requisitos principales

- Hands-on automation engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python and API-based integrations in production
- Experience with GitHub workflows and automated testing/deployment pipelines
- Understanding of enterprise identity, authentication and secure credential handling
- Ability to analyze complex problems and drive sustainable resolutions
- Strong documentation skills (design notes, runbooks, interface specs)
- Collaborative mindset and attention to detail for reliable, secure engineering
- Relevant technical education or equivalent experience; cloud/network/security/DevOps certifications beneficial
