Legal Counsel (M&A; Focus) at China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A

China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance Department in Madrid. The role focuses on M&A; transactions, corporate counsel matters, and contract review within the renewable energy sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent relevant discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of M&A; and corporate counsel work in prestigious law firms or as in-house counsel in international companies.
- Languages: Advanced English (C1-C2)



and Advanced Spanish (C1-C2/Native).
- Desirable: Master’s or specialization in renewable energy; previous experience in the renewable sector or energy legal teams.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Management of M&A; transactions and corporate counsel matters.
- Review of contracts and ancillary documents (EPC, O&M;, asset management, facility agreements) in the renewable energy sector.
- Proactive prevention and management of legal risks and disputes.
- Coordination with external legal counsel for general projects and litigation.
- Providing legal support to internal departments (Finance, M&A;, HR, Operations, Development).
