Live-in Housekeeper / Live-in Nanny Wanted
Stavanger, Norway | Long-Term Position (3-5+ Years)

We are a Spanish family living in Stavanger, Norway, looking for a reliable, organized, and caring live-in housekeeper / nanny to join our family on a long-term basis.

⚠️ IMPORTANT IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENT

Due to Norwegian immigration regulations, applicants must hold a valid EU/EEA passport (Spanish or any other EU/EEA nationality).

Permanent residence permits, residence cards, visas, or long-term residency are not sufficient. Applicants must be citizens of an EU/EEA country and hold the corresponding passport.

About Our Family
Family of 5
Two adults working full-time
Three children aged 7, 5, and 3
Children attend school/kindergarten from approximately 08:00 to 16:00
Spanish-speaking household living in Norway
Main Responsibilities

During school and kindergarten hours, the role will mainly involve household duties such as:

Making beds
Laundry
Folding and ironing clothes
General tidying and organizing
Cleaning and maintaining the house
Preparing family meals following recipes provided by the family
Grocery and household organization when needed

Childcare responsibilities are only occasional, as the children are normally at school/kindergarten during the day.

In the afternoons and evenings, duties typically include:

Preparing dinner
Helping keep the kitchen clean and organized
General household tidying before the end of the day
Working Hours
Approximately 30-35 hours per week




Schedule to be agreed with the right candidate
Previous experience with au pairs has shown that around 34 hours per week is sufficient when time is managed efficiently

One of the advantages of this position is that it usually leaves a large portion of the middle of the day free, roughly between 11:00 and 17:00.

This may make it possible to combine the position with studies, language courses, remote work, or another part-time job if desired.
