Luminary is looking for an experienced Group Accountant to manage and support accounting activities across multiple Group entities, working in an international fintech environment alongside Finance, Operations, senior management, external accountants, and auditors across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities

Group Accounting : Maintain Group accounting policies, chart-of-accounts consistency, and alignment between IFRS and local GAAP.
Multi-Entity & Consolidation : Perform accounting across Group entities, prepare consolidation schedules, and reconcile intercompany balances and FX adjustments.
Month-End & Year-End Closing : Post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; keep assigned entities on the Group closing calendar.
Financial & Regulatory Reporting : Support statutory and management reporting, coordinating with external accountants and local service providers.
Ledger Integrity & Reconciliations : Reconcile bank, payment, card, and wallet accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Accounting Operations : Manage day‑to‑day AP/AR, payroll accounting,



and intercompany invoicing for assigned entities.
Audit Support : Prepare audit documentation and working papers, and respond to auditor queries.
Systems & Process Improvement : Work with ERP platforms, support automation, and improve accounting workflows and controls.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS; experience with local GAAP across jurisdictions is an advantage.
Experience working with multiple legal entities, intercompany accounting, and consolidation processes.
Hands‑on experience with month‑end closing, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA is an advantage.
Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated financial services is highly desirab
