Help change one of the largest general industries: insurance brokerage.

About Us
Afori's vision is to ensure every human has the right cover at the right time. Our founders previously built insurance unicorn wefox and are now building the AI layer for insurance brokers: agents that plug directly into brokers' daily workflows and take over the back-office work that eats more than 60% of their time. We already save brokers over 2.5 hours a day, freeing them up to do what actually grows the business: advising customers well.

The opportunity is massive: the global protection gap is €1.3 trillion, and insurance distribution still runs on manual processes. Sequoia recently mapped AI-native services opportunities and ranked insurance brokerage first, a $140-200B market. We raised a €4M pre-seed led by General Catalyst, backed by investors and operators including Mustafa Suleyman (CEO, Microsoft AI) and Alex Rinke (Co-CEO, Celonis)

Your Impact
You'll be our first dedicated People & Operations hire, a true founding role.

You own everything from the first recruiting touchpoint to the moment someone walks into our (new) office, plus day-to-day finance operations. Your main focus: people and recruiting.

What You'll Do:
- Recruiting (your #1 priority): Own our hiring engine end-to-end: sourcing, pipeline, candidate experience, offers, closing.
- People Ops: Onboarding, contracts, payroll inputs and salary payouts, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance. Help build high-performance teams through team design, goal-setting, and feedback culture.
- Office: Lead the search for our new Barcelona office (one of your first projects), run it day-to-day, and greet new joiners and guests at the front desk as the face of Afori.
- Finance Ops: Pay bills, chase and organize receipts, and be the main interface to our external bookkeeper.
- Build your AI agent team: Set up agents as your first "hires" to handle sourcing, screening, receipt-chasing, and recurring workflows. We build agents
