JOB SUMMARY
To develop, lead and execute TSTT’s national distribution and trade marketing operations ensuring the availability, visibility and accessibility of prepaid products and services across approved physical, digital and alternative channels.
The role translates approved commercial, product, brand and sales strategies into effective channel execution and is accountable for distribution coverage, outlet productivity, merchandising and open market retail execution, trade activation, go-to-market readiness, SIM/eSIM and recharge availability, and the operational performance of appointed distributors and channel partners.
The incumbent leads the resources assigned to support distribution, merchandising, trade activation and events delivery, while ensuring disciplined governance, customer experience standards, incentive effectiveness and commercial controls.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Distribution Strategy & Availability
- Develop and implement distribution plans that support approved commercial, product and sales objectives.
- Manage the availability and accessibility of physical SIM cards, eSIMs, top-up, recharge, bundles, devices and other assigned products across approved distribution channels.
- Optimize distribution coverage based on outlet potential, customer demand, geographic requirements, transaction activity and commercial performance.
- Establish operational requirements for territory coverage, outlet servicing, distributor allocation, field deployment and replenishment.
- Monitor product availability, stock levels, activations, recharge activity, outlet productivity and stock-outs and initiate corrective action where required.
- Identify underserved locations and distribution gaps and recommend opportunities to improve product accessibility and channel coverage.
- Coordinate demand forecasting and replenishment requirements with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Finance and Technology.
