Job Description
The Contract Manager is responsible for leading the structuring, negotiation, drafting, review, and administration of commercial agreements that support IREN’s data center infrastructure construction projects by working cross-functionally with project development, construction, procurement, finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure contracts are commercially sound, operationally aligned, and appropriately structured to support successful project delivery and infrastructure expansion.
This role contributes to scalable growth and disciplined project execution by serving as the primary commercial interface between the project management team and the internal legal team, aligning commercial objectives with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk management frameworks, and strengthening contracting processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Technical Office Manager, the Contract Manager is responsible for:
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting development and construction projects, including EPC agreements, construction contracts, equipment supply agreements, NDAs, and strategic vendor contracts, by applying approved templates, fallback positions, and risk guidelines to ensure agreements are commercially robust and aligned with corporate standards.
