The AP Accounting Lead will be responsible for the integrity of the Barcelona campus’s financial backbone. The successful candidate will oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable process, from tax compliance to executing payroll entries.
Operational Autonomy: Lead the AP and Accounting function with a results-oriented mindset, ensuring all financial KPIs are met without the need for constant supervision.
Digital Transformation: Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within the accounting function to drive institutional efficiency.
Full-Cycle Accounting: Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures with absolute precision, ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger.
Accounts Payable Governance: Validate and process supplier invoices via Sage X3,



ensuring rigorous adherence to approval workflows and maintaining an accurate aging report.
Fiscal Compliance: Oversee tax obligations and support external audit requirements in full alignment with Spanish PGC (Plan General Contable) and corporate regulations.
Payroll & Treasury: Manage the accounting entries for payroll execution and co-lead daily treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations.

Utilize complex Excel workbooks to deliver structured financial reporting and data-driven insights for executive decision-making.
Uphold all internal corporate governance and company regulations, specifically regarding employee travel and expense management.
