A freelance project manager to run video ad campaigns for B2B tech clients, from the first brief to the final file.
About us
We're Camping, a brand storytelling and video agency in Barcelona. We help B2B tech companies go from 'boring' to heartfelt, through brand work and video.
The role
We have more video ad campaigns coming in than our project team can run, and some of them could start in the next few weeks. So we're looking for one more project manager, as a freelancer.
A campaign for us is usually 6 to 12 ads, and then the cutdowns, resizes and language versions for every platform. More and more often the videos are made fully or partly with AI. You take the campaign from the kickoff call to the last file. You're the client's main contact, you send them scripts and cuts, collect their feedback and turn it into clear next steps for the team.
You'll work with our creative director, strategists, AI creatives, producers and freelance editors and motion designers. You won't be the director or the strategist.
You'll be the person who knows where every ad stands and tells us early when something slips. Most of the work is in post-production, the rest is pre-production and shoots.
What you'll do
- Run several video ad campaigns at the same time, from kickoff to final delivery
- Be the client's day-to-day contact: send scripts, cuts and updates, and run the feedback rounds
- Plan pre-production and shoots with our producers, directors and production partners
- Book and brief freelance editors, motion designers, color and sound, and track every revision round
- Keep Asana, Notion and Frame.io up to date, so anyone on the team can see where a project stands
- Check every ad before it goes to the client: formats, aspect ratios, subtitles, specs for each platform
- Flag changes to timeline, budget or scope to our Head of Production before you promise anything to the client
What we're looking for
- 3+ years as a project manager, producer or post-production coordinator
