Overview As a Java Tech Lead, you will drive the migration of a client platform within a large US financial institution. You’ll build and maintain Java/Kotlin Spring Boot microservices, enhance search capabilities, and modernize data ingestion, while ensuring cloud readiness on Azure.

- Migrate client platform and onboard to customer processes
- Develop and maintain Java/Kotlin Spring Boot microservices; implement new features
- Improve personalized search and modernize data ingestion for faster indexing
- Ensure cloud readiness and Azure APIM/gateway integration
- Collaborate across teams and with the client to identify best solutions

- 1+ year of Team Lead, Tech Lead or Architect experience
- 5+ years of enterprise backend system design experience
- Strong Java/Kotlin knowledge; Spring/Spring Boot expertise
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture patterns
- Hands-on Azure experience (preferably Azure AI Search) and cloud architecture
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Good SQL knowledge
- Familiar with microservice architectures; containers and orchestration (Kubernetes/PKS/Open Shift)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Adoption of Agile and Dev Ops culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work until 8:00 pm CET; English: B2 or higher
