Overview In this role you will build and manage commercial relationships with hospital leaders to maximise access to Alexion products in a regional portfolio. You will implement the company strategy within key accounts, communicate environment and requirements to Alexion, and secure patient access.
You will collaborate with cross
-functional teams to drive market access, education, and data-driven insights, while maintaining compliant, high-quality engagement with healthcare stakeholders.
This position offers the chance to shape access strategies in a complex hospital ecosystem and contribute to the company’s mission in the rare disease space.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and manage relationships with hospital decision makers and influencers to drive product access
- Implement Alexion commercial strategy in targeted key accounts and achieve commercial goals
- Identify account environment and requirements and relay insights to Alexion teams
- Build a network of trusted relationships with accounts, hospitals and stakeholders
- Plan and execute education and disease awareness initiatives following guidelines
- Organise staff meetings in hospitals with Medical Department support
- Monitor market data to identify opportunities and competitive advantages
- Maintain timely CRM data entry and generate business reports
- Collect and report pharmacovigilance information according to procedures
- Share information with country team and collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Market Access
- Prepare and deliver educational and promotional presentations for healthcare stakeholders
- Ensure activities comply with local regulations and company values Requisitos principales
- 3-5 years in specialty care, hospital business or rare disease environments
- Proven experience managing complex healthcare ecosystems and engaging multiple stakeholders
- Experience in Key Account Management is desirable
- Involvement in product launches, market development initiatives or business expansion is desirable
- Track record of commercial success in a specialist hospital role
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate opportunities into actionable plans
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise across a geographically dispersed territory
- Strong scientific curiosity and understanding of complex disease areas and patient pathways
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations
- Proficiency with business reporting and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays
- Madrid-based preferred
