Job purpose
The purpose of this role is to facilitate effective communication and understanding between IOM staff and beneficiaries, particularly within a reception center. This involves providing interpretation and translation services in languages spoken by the migrant population, ensuring beneficiaries comprehend their rights, available services, and relevant information. The role also acts as an intercultural mediator, bridging cultural differences to foster respectful coexistence. Responsibilities
