Job purpose: This role supports the mission's procurement and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with IOM's policies and procedures. The position involves managing the acquisition of goods and services, maintaining inventory, and facilitating the distribution of non-food items. The jobholder will contribute to the efficient operational support of the mission by ensuring timely and accurate procurement processes, effective warehouse management, and proper documentation.



This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of the mission's logistical operations, directly impacting the support provided to beneficiaries and the overall effectiveness of IOM's projects. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to administrative standards.
Responsibilities: Procurement: Support mission procurement activities, including requesting quotes, managing service agreements, and delivering goods/services per IOM policies. Ensure compliance with administrative procedures for tracking, bidding, evaluation, and ordering. Conduct market research and small purchases for urgent needs. Gather and track requisition information. Coordinate and monitor the delivery of acquired goods and services, verifying terms and specifications. Liaise with Logistics for delivery updates.
