About the role

We're looking for an Account Management Intern to help own and grow a book of existing accounts. This is a sales-driven role: you'll support upsell and cross-sell efforts, help run the day-to-day of client relationships, and learn what it takes to make clients see Walter as a long-term partner, not just a vendor. Great fit for someone who wants hands-on experience in B2B account management and sales.

Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of accounts, acting as the client's main point of contact.




- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the account base.
- Build and maintain a rolling forecast together with each client, tracking usage, upcoming needs, and expansion potential.
- Analyze account data and usage patterns to spot risk, whitespace, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and lead business reviews (QBRs) with clients, backed by data.
- Organize events and touchpoints with clients (in-person and virtual) to strengthen the relationship.
- Negotiate renewals and expansions, working closely with the sales and finance teams.
- Keep the CRM and account records accurate and up to date.
- Partner with product and support to resolve escalations and close feedback loops.
- Hit and report against revenue retention and expansion targets.
