Our finance team is currently undergoing an exciting transformation: we are implementing modern consolidation platforms, transitioning our group reporting framework to US GAAP, and strengthening our internal control architecture.
As the Senior Accountant for Group Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in driving independent Group Reporting operations. Working closely alongside the Senior Accounting Manager reporting, you will take ownership of end-to-end consolidation, intercompany management, and financial reporting.
This is a dynamic "build" role adecuado for an ambitious accounting professional looking to establish robust processes and expand into external and statutory reporting as our group structure matures.
Intercompany Accounting:
Review trial balance submissions for key international entities (South Africa, Mexico, Brazil), ensuring proper mapping to the group chart of accounts and maintaining data integrity.
Audit & Controls Support: Collect internal control evidence, track management letter recommendations, and coordinate audit request deliverables.
Treasury & Statutory Backup: Provide backup support for daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting; Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need:4+ years of hands-on accounting experience with proven expertise in multi-entity group consolidations.
Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort managing large, complex datasets.
Resilience, problem-solving mindset, and strong interest in software/AI automation.
Proficiency in spoken and written English, essential for daily communication across international market
