.We are looking for a Staff SRE — Cloud Efficiency to own cloud efficiency across our infrastructure platform — thousands of services running on several Kubernetes clusters across multiple regions. This is a hands‐on engineering role with real autonomy, sitting at the intersection of our SRE, Product, and Engineering teams. What the role involves Own the cloud efficiency roadmap end to end: identify the highest-leverage opportunities, coordinate with owning teams, and execute
Partner with our FinOps function to turn their findings into implemented change, and feed engineering-level insight back to them
Surface software architectural mismatches that cause inefficiencies that billing analysis alone cannot catch




Drive Kubernetes efficiency at scale: resource hygiene, bin‐packing, autoscaling, and right‐sizing across multiple clusters
Strong SRE or infrastructure engineering background with deep experience operating, debugging, and reasoning about large-scale distributed systems in production
Demonstrated cloud cost optimisation at scale: commitment strategy, right‐sizing, spot/preemptible, autoscaling, storage tiering, and data-transfer/egress — the full surface, not just the obvious line items
Architectural judgement — the ability to look at a system and identify when the infrastructure is wrong for the workload (over‐provisioned, mis‐chosen, or carried over from a context that no longer applies) and to propose what it should be instead
