Vamani is looking for an experienced
Senior Commercial Manager / Business Development professional
to join our team and play a key role in developing and managing our international
fashion business
.

We are looking for
someone who understands that great commercial management in fashion goes far beyond sales
.

This role requires a strong understanding of
product, garment construction, costing, pricing and negotiation
, combined with excellent client relationships and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.

The adecuado candidate will have experience working
both on the supplier and brand/retail side
, bringing a strong understanding of how both sides of the business operate.

We are looking for someone who is
commercially sharp, product-driven and highly connected
— someone who can sit with a client, understand what they need, challenge a price, identify an opportunity and then work with the internal team to make it happen.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing relationships with key international clients.




- Leading commercial conversations from initial product development through to final negotiation and order placement.
- Working confidently with
costings, margins, price negotiations and commercial targets
.
- Understanding garment construction, fabrics, washes, finishes and production implications in order to negotiate effectively and realistically.
- Working closely with Design, Merchandising, Product Development and Production teams to ensure the right balance between
product, price, quality and delivery
.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts across categories and product areas.
- Actively developing
new business opportunities and client relationships
through a strong industry network.
- Understanding each client's business, positioning and product strategy to anticipate their needs rather than simply react to briefs.
