We’re looking for a System Engineer - Electrical & Electronic Circuit Protection to join our R&D; Center in San Sebastian, Spain and play a key role in the development of next-generation industrial circuit protection products within our Industrial Circuit Protection (ICP) business.

In this role, you’ll work across electrical, electronic,



mechanical and manufacturing disciplines - taking electrical sub-systems from concept and design through prototyping, validation and production.

What you’ll do
- Design and develop electrical sub-systems for industrial circuit breakers, fuse switch disconnectors and related protection devices, from concept through validation.
- Perform electrical calculations, simulations and component selection to meet performance, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Apply system engineering principles to integrate electrical, electronic, mechanical and molding-process requirements into robust product designs.
- Support prototyping, proof-of-concept activities and design verification testing.
- Work closely with the Technology Research Manager, Prototype Center and Lab Test Center to develop and validate new solutions.
