The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to lead BIM management for the electrical discipline, coordinating models, resources, and deliverables, Contribute to the implementation of digital processes, BIM standards, and information management best practices throughout the entire project lifecycle, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a highly digitalised environment.
As a Senior Electrical BIM Coordinator at Arup, you will:
- Lead the BIM production of electrical systems for national and international projects.
- Develop, review, and coordinate electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Plan and coordinate modelling activities within the electrical discipline.
- Manage the quality, consistency, and accuracy of BIM models and associated deliverables.
- Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
- Oversee the production of drawings, schematics, schedules, and technical documentation derived from BIM models.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and quality control processes.
- Identify, manage, and track modelling and coordination issues.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of BIM libraries, templates, and families.
- Promote the use of automation tools and digital processes to improve project efficiency.
- Work within collaborative information management environments and support the implementation of BIM best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
