About the Role

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will join the People team and play a key role in the management and execution of general payroll processes.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage and execute payroll processes, ensuring
accurate and timely salary payments
.
- Ensure payroll compliance with applicable
labor, tax and regulatory requirements
.
- Support the management of
international and multi-country payroll processes
.
- Coordinate with external payroll providers, tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Resolve employee queries related to
payroll, compensation and benefits
.
- Collaborate closely with
HR Business Partners, Finance teams and department heads
.
- Ensure payroll data accuracy and alignment between payroll and accounting cycles.




- Participate in internal and cross-functional
payroll audits
.
- Handle confidential and sensitive employee information with the highest level of integrity.
- Identify opportunities to
optimize and automate payroll processes and workflows
.
- Support and mentor other team members, sharing payroll expertise and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll operations in an international and growing environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing, tax compliance, and benefits administration
- Must reside in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
- Advanced proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
