We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (Kotlin) to join the global Loyalty Development team, responsible for building and evolving products related to Loyalty & Customer Data.You will be involved in designing and developing scalable, cloud-native solutions that deliver personalized customer experiences across different channels and touchpoints.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Kotlin.
- Building and managing scalable infrastructure with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Working in GitOps environments using Flux.
- Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, GKE, and PubSub.
- Integrating APIs and ensuring code quality through automated testing using Kotest and Testcontainers.
- Collaborating actively within agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes, architecture,



and engineering best practices.

What will you need to fit in it?
4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Software Engineer.
- Strong experience with JVM technologies, ideally Kotlin and its ecosystem.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with, or interest in, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience working with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of API integration and management.
- Ability to thrive in international teams and collaborative environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- English proficiency sufficient to work effectively in a integral environment.
