Overview As an Executive Director in SCIB, you will lead end-to-end back leverage transactions (non-recourse or partial-recourse) for institutional clients. You will collaborate with trading, sales, syndication, legal and risk teams to structure and execute complex financings across EMEA. The role combines front-office origination with rigorous risk management and cross-border execution, with a strong emphasis on leadership and stakeholder alignment. You will shape deal structuring across general markets and contribute to Santander’s client-centric transformation. * Structure back leverage transactions with non-recourse or partial-recourse formats * Oversee cross-border transaction structuring across EMEA * Ensure execution quality and strong client engagement throughout the deal lifecycle * Mentor and lead teams to deliver high-impact solutions Requisitos principales * 10+ years in structured finance, structured credit, real estate finance, trading, origination or underwriting across EMEA * Proven ability to originate and close complex financing solutions for institutional clients * Experience leading teams and coordinating with multiple functions in large international institutions * Master in Finance or equivalent * English required; Spanish preferred * Strong financial modelling and transaction analysis capabilities * Cross-border, risk-aware deal structuring experience * Commercial and client-oriented mindset * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail * Structured finance and structured credit * Origination, underwriting and execution of complex transactions * Risk management, hedging and restructuring
