The Group Raw Material Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring the long-term availability of raw materials across Ontex's European manufacturing network, safeguarding production continuity and strengthening supply chain resilience. The role acts as a key link between Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Suppliers,
transforming demand forecasts into sustainable supply strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Raw Material Planning
- Lead long-term raw material planning across European manufacturing sites.
- Translate demand forecasts into raw material requirements plans.
- Manage monthly Raw Material RCCP reviews and align requirements with supplier capacity.
- Ensure high forecast accuracy and data reliability.
Supply Resilience & Business Continuity
- Lead supply chain responses during raw material shortages and crisis situations.
- Coordinate material allocation across multiple factories.
- Develop contingency plans, alternative sourcing strategies, and risk mitigation actions.
- Prevent production disruptions and minimize customer impact.
Supplier Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead planning activities within strategic supplier collaboration programs.
- Build strong partnerships with Procurement and sup
