We are supporting a leading multinational company with a significant presence in the energy, industrial and consumer markets, operating across multiple international geographies and within a highly structured finance organisation.
The company is currently looking for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support its Finance function in Spain and Portugal during a transition period, ensuring business continuity until the permanent Finance Manager joins the organisation.
The Role
Reporting into the regional Finance organisation and working closely with local and international stakeholders, the Interim Finance Manager will take ownership of the key finance activities currently managed by the existing team.
The role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong knowledge of statutory accounting, financial reporting, compliance and Local GAAP requirements in both Spain and Portugal .
The assignment will have an initial duration of 4 months , with a part-time dedication of approximately 3 days per week .
Key Responsibilities




- Take over and independently manage the finance activities currently handled by the existing team.
- Ensure continuity and timely delivery of all statutory accounting, financial reporting and compliance obligations across Spain and Portugal.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Spanish and Portuguese Local GAAP requirements.
- Coordinate and support local statutory reporting processes, including interaction with external advisors, auditors and other relevant stakeholders.
- Manage financial reporting activities and ensure accurate and timely information is provided to regional and corporate Finance teams.
- Identify, document and structure key finance processes, controls, procedures and local requirements .
- Ensure proper understanding and documentation of country-specific accounting and compliance matters.
