Legal Attorney (Fixed-Term Contract) Req ID: About the Role & Team This Legal Attorney role sits within the Disney Iberia Legal team and provides broad, cross-functional support across commercial, corporate, technology and regional matters for Spain and Portugal, while collaborating closely with colleagues across EMEA and the US. The attorney will combine strong commercial contracting, IP and data protection expertise with a genuine interest in technology, AI and legal innovation to enable Disney’s businesses to operate, grow and transform in a compliant and efficient way. This role reports to the Senior Counsel. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day. This role will be based in our Madrid office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home. This is a fixed-term contract from November 2026 till end of June 2027. Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including service, agency, vendor, acquisition, marketing, promotional, partnership and sponsorship arrangements and provide day-to-day advice to teams in Spain and Portugal Provide guidance on data protection and privacy including GDPR-related contractual matters arising from marketing,



events and other uses of personal data Support content clearance and anti-piracy matters liaising with regional and US legal teams where required Support EMEA and cross-border projects by negotiating multi-territory agreements researching relevant EU and local law and translating complex legal issues into clear commercially focused advice Drive legal operations and digital transformation through process automation knowledge management template optimisation continuous improvement and the responsible adoption of AI and other technologies Act as the Legal department’s InfoSec champion maintaining knowledge of internal security processes and coordinating with the regional security team. Qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience in commercial marketing and intellectual property matters within the entertainment or audiovisual sector or in a law firm Strong expertise in intellectual property law particularly in relation to media content licensing and rights exploitation Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish with the ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts and communicate legal matters clearly also to stakeholders without a legal background Strong knowledge of European law and EU regulatory frameworks relevant to media marketing and data protection Strong understanding of AI technology and legal innovation with an interest in using them to improve legal services and processes Knowledge of European law The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
