About the Role:

As a CBRE Client Consulting Director, you will be a key contributor to the development and growth of our Strategic Consulting practice in Barcelona, as we offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients on the fields of Real Estate investments, RE Operating Models, Change Management & Corporate Culture, as well as ESG strategies and implementation, across all the asset types and investment structures.

Our Strategic Consulting Team is composed by fully dedicated consultants, all coming from reputable consulting firms and with focus on three main pillars:

- Investment Strategy: Support Real Estate investors taking investment related decisions (investment strategy support on new markets, asset types and niches, integrated due diligences (Financial, Commercial, Technical and ESG DD), monetization plans, strategic plans, highest and best use projects, asset repositioning…)

- Corporate Strategy: Support Corporations operating in all sectors except pure real estate solve their increasingly complex real estate and people issues (footprint optimization, new build feasibility programs, facility management operating model design, cost optimization plans…)

- ESG: Support all type of clients with real estate related ESG solutions (Sustainability strategy definition, decarbonization plans, LEED & BREEAM certifications, environmental due diligence, mobility studies, non-financial reporting…)

What you´ll do

Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of consultants, you will set the vision and ambition of the unit in terms of business generation, offering, and go-to-market strategy.



You will be key to develop alliances and collaboration models with the rest of the organization, locally and internationally, and other potential alliances with potential third-party collaborators and organizations.

You will have also to assess the current team structure and the future needs to achieve your vision and ambition, in terms of skill set, capabilities, experience and the type of services, with a clear hiring strategy to develop the internal capabilities.

What you´ll need

- MBA degree preferred with 15+ years of professional experience in Strategic Consulting, including at least 8 years of relevant experience within a management consulting firm.
- Passion for leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
- Insightful, inquisitive, collaborative.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Driven to generate strong impact in society through the built environment and people.
- Motivated to face new and diverse challenges.




- Fluent in English.
- Required experience working in management consulting firms (MBBs and/or Big4) as Director or Senior Manager.
- Proven track record in people management, with at least 8 years leading high-performing teams.
- Experience managing proposal writing efforts; participating in pitches for consulting work; developing new business within existing accounts through client relationships.
