Botanica Verde S.L. (VitaFilling) is a GMP and ISO certified contract manufacturer of food supplements and natural cosmetics, based in Málaga. We produce capsules and powders for private-label brands across Europe.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take full responsibility for our factory floor in Málaga. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position (Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:00), reporting directly to the CEO.

The role requires someone who can manage production independently, make decisions and keep operations running to plan and to GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

- Manage daily production operations: team, equipment, materials and timelines

- Plan weekly and monthly production to meet customer delivery dates

- Make sure raw materials and packaging are available before production and report shortages in advance

- Lead, train and organise the production team, including scheduling and performance

- Take responsibility for production equipment (encapsulation, mixing, counting and packing lines), including set-up, cleaning, troubleshooting and planned maintenance with external technicians

- Keep complete and accurate GMP documentation: batch records, cleaning records, environmental monitoring and traceability

- Manage production deviations:



investigate the root cause and put corrective actions in place

- Work closely with the Quality department (product release stays with Quality)

- Report weekly to the CEO on output, issues and upcoming production

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years' experience as Production Manager or Production Supervisor in a regulated manufacturing environment (food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics or similar)

- Working knowledge of GMP and/or HACCP

- Solid technical understanding of production machinery

- Proven experience leading a team of 5 or more people

- Experience in production planning and materials control

- Fluent Spanish and professional English (both used daily)

- Based in the Málaga area or willing to relocate

- Looking for a long-term role

Desirable

- Experience in food supplements or cosmetics

- Experience with capsule filling equipment

- Driving licence
