Full-time Job Description We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join our Customer Support Engineering team, based in our Madrid office . Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day technical support to customers, resolve complex engineering issues, and support the planning and execution of maintenance activities. Our Customer Support Engineering team provides engineering support for the operation and maintenance of OEM gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, control systems and auxiliary equipment . The team works across scheduled and forced outages, ongoing plant operations, new business development and existing customer expansion, collaborating closely with programme management, commercial, tendering, service and repair teams. This is a varied, customer-facing engineering role where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise across multiple areas while making a direct contribution to reliability, availability and safety of operating assets . Key Responsibilities As a Customer Support Engineer, you will:




Provide technical support and problem resolution for customers relating to gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, control systems and associated auxiliaries.
Support the operation and maintenance of MHI gas turbines, steam turbines, control systems and auxiliary equipment.
Respond to internal and external customer requests, applying strong technical knowledge, analytical skills and sound engineering principles.
Investigate technical issues, identify root causes and develop effective corrective actions.
Lead and manage root cause analysis for significant technical issues and provide technical leadership to personnel involved in resolving customer problems.
Act as a liaison between field service teams and design engineering to drive timely technical resolutions.
Support planned inspections and maintenance activities, including acting as the company engineer during gas and steam turbine inspecti
