Accountabilities
You will lead and contribute to Rust engineering initiatives across Linux and open source projects, combining hands-on development with technical leadership and community collaboration.
- Design, implement, test, and document high-quality software using Rust on Linux.
- Drive and advocate for broader Rust adoption across internal and upstream open source projects.
- Identify existing projects, services, and codebases where Rust adoption could deliver meaningful technical benefits.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues encountered by users and contributors.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural reviews, and broader engineering processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and open source communities to develop technical specifications and architectural solutions.
