We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our central engineering team. This team designs SCADA and digitalization solutions, writes engineering standards, supports the commercial team on new opportunities, and helps the project teams with difficult technical problems.
You will build Ignition applications, connect them to plant systems and to higher-level systems,



and create the standards and reusable components that our project teams use. This is an office-based engineering role.
You will also help the commercial team win new projects: designing the technical solution and architecture, preparing the estimate, and building demonstrations for clients.
Most of our clients work in regulated industries, so well-documented engineering is key.
Perspective and Vision, tags and UDTs, alarms, historian, reports and Gateway configuration.
Write scripts and queries in Python and SQL, and design the databases behind the applications.
Connect PLC and DCS systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron) to databases, historians, reports and cloud services.
Set up industrial communications: Design solutions for virtual and container infrastructure, with secure separation between IT and OT networks.
Integrations to MES, ERP, Databases, and other digital manufacturing systems.
Write and maintain our SCADA engineering standards, s
