We're a small engineering team. Senior engineers at Budibase are expected to be hands-on and close to the product. You'll have significant autonomy over how problems are solved and will work directly with product, design, and other engineers to decide what we build and how we build it.
We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong engineering fundamentals and good product instincts.



Have significant professional software engineering experience
Have strong JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals
Are comfortable working across frontend and backend
Care about usability, reliability, maintainability, and product quality
Use AI coding tools and are actively exploring how AI changes software development
You'll take ambiguous product and technical problems, understand the underlying need, help determine the right solution, build it, and get it successfully into users' hands. Over time, we'd expect you to raise the quality of the engineering around you, through the decisions you make, the systems you build, and the way you work with the rest of the team.
