About The Role
As our new FP&A; and Accounting Specialist, you'll take full ownership of Flanks' day-to-day accounting operations — from monthly closings and tax filings to financial reporting — while laying the groundwork for our internal FP&A; function. You'll report to our Head of Finance and work closely with People, Sales, and AP to keep our numbers accurate and our reporting sharp.
What You'll Do
- Apply Spanish GAAP (PGC) to accounting, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings, reviewing and approving transactions to keep internal controls tight.
- Run the end-to-end monthly closing process and consolidate costs to meet Finance team deadlines.
- Prepare and file taxes (IVA, retenciones, Sociedades, etc.), keeping us fully compliant locally.
- Own the financial reporting plan and lead preparation of financial statements and management reports.
