Chemours is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing Controllership team. This position will be available at the Asturias (Spain) site and report directly to the Integral Payroll Accounting, OTC, Corporate and SG&A; Manager.
The responsibilities of the position include, but is not limited to, the following: Payroll Accounting Close
- Review payroll-related journal entries and system interfaces to the general ledger.
- Review payroll balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items.
- Record and analyze payroll-related accruals, including vacation, bonus, incentive compensation, severance, and other employee-related liabilities.
