We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to grow our team of data experts.
Your goal will be to constantly improve and scale our group wide adopted Data Analytics Platform.
This platform is a product that provides a governed, compliant, and cost effective Azure lakehouse foundation. It includes reusable components for data extraction, ingestion, harmonization, and quality—enabling Business Units (BUs) to build their own analytics platforms and data products faster, with reduced cognitive load. It is a managed Databricks environment designed for non IT users,
offering a simplified experience with built in governance and automation to support data driven experimentation and insight generation.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Your impact as a Data Platform Engineer will enable to be a data driven company by helping the business units to deliver high quality software components, used at the BU's to compile data systems which make our client the best data driven financial services company. You get the opportunity to take part in designing and implementing code that will be re used by over 110 data engineers in 10 teams and 15 countries.

Our infrastructure runs on MS Azure cloud and we use IaC.
We use Azure Data Factory (ADF) for pipelines and orchestration and Databricks for processing and transforming data. Python (incl. PySpark), SQL, CI/CD, packaging, testing, and IaC (Bicep, Pulumi a plus)
