Job Description:
About the role:
Join us as our Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) for Solid Tumors. In this role, you will provide field-based medical support in your country to help advance Takeda’s goals and strengthen the company’s medical and scientific credibility.
You will serve as a field-based source of scientific and clinical expertise for external stakeholders and internal colleagues, including Sales and Market Access. You will work autonomously in the field while contributing to central Medical Affairs priorities and collaborating across a matrix organization.
Please note this is a 1 year contract for a temporary leave coverage with earliest start date November 2026.
How you will contribute:
Reporting to the MSL Manager, you will build and maintain trusted, long-term peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), opinion leaders, and other relevant external stakeholders.
- Provide accurate, balanced scientific exchange: Continuously review and critically assess scientific literature, preparing summaries when appropriate.
Use your disease-area and product knowledge to respond to unsolicited HCP enquiries with accurate, non-promotional medical and technical information about licensed and unlicensed indications, in line with applicable requirements. Deliver clinical presentations and medical information as needed.
- Build stakeholder partnerships: Proactively identify and develop long-term peer-to-peer relationships with opinion leaders and other relevant stakeholders. Understand and segment stakeholder needs, then implement targeted approaches to communicate medical data effectively.
- Support internal colleagues: Act as a field-based scientific and clinical reference for Sales, Market Access, and other internal stakeholders through training and ad hoc support, aligned with Takeda project teams.
- Contribute to clinical studies: Support ongoing and future Company-Sponsored Studies when requested by Integral Development Operations. Activ
