In this Lead Solution Architect role, you drive end-to-end architecture design for cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions. You will align architectures with business goals within Zurich’s Technology Delivery Center, shaping scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms. You collaborate across stakeholders to translate requirements into blueprints and govern architectural standards. Your work combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight to enable rapid, reliable delivery in a global, collaborative environment. You’ll be at the heart of Zurich’s tech-driven journey, influencing how data, AI, and integrations power business outcomes.

Responsabilidades

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture design and delivery aligned with business and tech strategy
- Define principles, standards, and best practices for scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability
- Create architecture blueprints covering application, data, integration, and infrastructure views
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs and non-functional requirements
- Mentor architects, engineers, and development teams through projects
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions
- Ensure cross-domain integration using modern patterns (REST/GraphQL, event-driven, secure data exchange)




- Review and approve designs, data models, and implementation approaches
- Govern architecture governance, security baselines, and cloud policies
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies; coordinate with security, infra, data, and engineering teams
- Define observability and production readiness patterns; establish monitoring and alerting
- Communicate architecture decisions, roadmaps, and strategies to technical and non-technical audiences

Requisitos principales

- Extensive experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture
- Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure, including Kubernetes, serverless, managed databases, and IAM
- Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patterns
- Solid understanding of application, infrastructure, networking, security, and data management
- Experience designing or integrating AI/ML solutions (model serving, AI observability, responsible AI controls) is a strong plus
- Hands-on GitOps practices and Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to balance business and technical needs
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
