Bid & Proposal Engineer - Space Systems

Join OCCAM Space at the intersection of engineering, customers and business. As a Proposal Engineer, you will take ownership of technical and commercial proposals for real space missions, working directly with our engineering teams and international customers across the launch and satellite industry.

What will you do?
- Bid management: Lead end-to-end preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including requirement analysis, solution definition with engineering teams, internal coordination, and bid planning and reviews.
- Commercial & institutional proposals: Support pricing and cost estimation and prepare proposals for both commercial customers and institutional programs (ESA, grants, public funding).
- Processes & tools: Use and maintain structured processes and tools (CRM, planning, risk tracking, documentation), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
- Product positioning: Define go-to-market approaches for recurring products and maintain high-quality commercial and technical materials (datasheets, brochures,



presentations).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical proposals, bid engineering, technical sales or a similar technical-commercial role
- Knowledge of the space sector, space systems or payload interfaces will be highly valued.
- Proven experience preparing complex technical proposals (including costing, structured documentation, and coordination across teams).
- Strong understanding of space systems (structures, mechanisms, or payload interfaces).
- Experience working with CRM tools and structured pipeline management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple bids under deadlines.
- Fluent professional English.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish.

What we offer
- Permanent, full-time employment contract.
- Compensation: €35.000–€60.000 gross per year, based on experie
