We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial sales professional to join our Fundamental Ratings sales team. Position is targeted to be located in Milan or Madrid office of Scope.
Originate, develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion for Fundamental Ratings across Corporates, Financial Institutions, Sovereign and Public Sector entities in Southern Europe.
~ Act as a trusted commercial point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, Debt Capital Markets teams, public sector officials, advisors and intermediaries).
~ Proactively manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and pitch preparation to mandate execution, fee negotiation and onboarding.
~ Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Analytical, Business Support, Communications and Marketing teams among others) to ensure alignment, high-quality client delivery and effective execution of sales strategies.
~ Contribute to the development of targeted sales and marketing initiatives, including client events, roadshows, strategic campaigns, presentations and tailored commercial materials.
~ Monitor market trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments -including country particularities-, and issuance pipelines across fixed income, debt capital markets and public sector financing,



and translate insights into actionable commercial opportunities.
~ Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business or a related field preferred;
~3-5 years of professional experience in sales, business development or client coverage within financial markets, credit ratings, fixed income, debt capital markets, banking or related financial services.
~ Strong commercial mindset combined with the ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
~ Fluency in Italian and English is essential; other European languages like Spanish is a plus
