Overview

As Frontend Tech Lead at Caravelo, you will shape how our frontend platform evolves as the product grows. You’ll stay hands-on while guiding architecture, standards and cross-team collaboration to keep the platform coherent and scalable. You’ll define how frontend engineers work, drive RFCs, and mentor others to build robust, reusable foundations. This role combines coding with strategic influence to scale our design system, shared components, and frontend practices. You’ll join a mission-driven team redefining travel tech through a scalable, AI-aware frontend platform.

Responsabilidades

- Build and evolve shared frontend capabilities used across Caravelo
- Contribute to design system and component foundations with Design and frontend engineers
- Improve developer experience: local development, CI/CD, testing, deployment
- Maintain frontend architecture health as features and product lines grow




- Make pragmatic architectural decisions to improve robustness and scalability
- Define and evolve frontend architecture conventions and RFC processes
- Lead code reviews quality and frontend engineering standards
- Mentor engineers and foster autonomy across teams
- Improve reliability with E2E testing, monitoring, and observability
- Enhance cross-team communication through documentation and shared decisions
- Guide AI-assisted development to accelerate work while preserving maintainability

Requisitos principales

- Strong experience building modern frontend applications
- Experience leading technical decisions, architecture discussions, and code reviews in frontend
- Deep experience with Vue 3 and its ecosystem
- Experience improving reliability through testing, observability, performance, and production debugging
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence without formal authority
- Pragmatic judgment in architecture decisions
