Overview

In this role you will help drive the UN's digital transformation through designing, developing and maintaining enterprise software solutions. You will work within the Enterprise Solutions Service to deliver scalable systems and strong data security for diverse global operations. You will collaborate with clients, manage system integration and provide technical guidance across teams. Responsabilidades

- Manage feasibility studies, system analysis, design, development and deployment of moderately complex systems; contribute as part of a development team for larger components
- Create detailed system and functional specifications and user documentation for major systems
- Analyze user requirements, advise on solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing applications
- Maintain and enhance user systems, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and provide user support
- Develop and maintain integrated programs across interrelated systems with robust data security and access controls
- Organize unit and integration testing, support user acceptance testing
- Create training materials and manuals; train staff on assigned systems
- Research and evaluate new technologies; recommend deployment where appropriate




- Draft reports and papers on system needs and information strategy; support SLA development with clients
- Coordinate SLAs and contract administration with vendors and chargeback policies
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends; present insights via visualizations to enable data-driven planning
- Provide guidance or supervision to junior staff and consultants
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requisitos principales

- Five years of progressively responsible experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer information systems
- Experience supporting software needs of UN peacekeeping, humanitarian operations, or similar international field operations
- Four years in leading design, development, and delivery of software solutions (ERP/CRM) and scaling software teams
- Four years in designing architectures for complex, scalable software serving >30,000 users across geographies
- Three years hands-on with C#/.Net Core and React to build REST APIs and web front-ends
- Three years’ experience preparing technical proposals including SLAs and cost estimates
- Two years’ experience with Machine Learning and AI (desirable)
- Two years’ experience with data analytics or related area (desirable)
- English required; French desirable
