Responsibilities
As an industrial Engineer in the mining field, you will take over different positions at the Mine site covering all the functions assigned in the chain of responsibility:
- Bulk Operations from Assistant Level, Technical Services Support, Manufacturing Operations and Commercial Assistance.
- Overall,
responsibility to assist all related works of a blast and general operations include:
- Ensuring the correct priming, loading and right use of the hose during the loading of the hole.
- Following and assist blast procedures.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area and complying with H&S; policies.
- Assist on Overall responsibility for the Mobile Units.
- Assist on the Manufacturing and delivering of bulk products, ensuring correct quality control.
- Ensuring the correct operation, maintenance and all safety measures of the Units.
- Preparing the Unit for the blast in accordance with the Technical Manager instructions.
- Working with the customer to optimize drilling and blasting practices.
- Troubleshooting malfunctioning loading system when required.
- Assist on Overall responsibility for the application of blasting plans, company and country policies regarding the use of explosives.
