Overview

In this role you drive both agile execution and software development for SIL2-compliant Control Center solutions in a global R&D; Rail Automation team. You guide an international group, ensuring transparent product vision and reliable sprint delivery. You design and implement critical Java software while promoting continuous learning and safe, efficient railway operations. This hybrid opportunity combines leadership with hands-on engineering to shape safe mobility systems.

Responsabilidades

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and ensure high-quality delivery
- Coach the team to remove impediments and achieve reliable sprint goals
- Collaborate with Product Owners and international stakeholders to align on product vision
- Design, implement and modify critical Java software for signaling solutions




- Apply SIL2 development techniques to create robust, deployable products
- Promote transparency and continuous learning within multicultural Agile teams

Requisitos principales

- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Industrial Engineering
- Solid Java/OOP experience
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to lead multicultural teams
- Knowledge of software architecture, Git, and CI tools (Jenkins, SonarQube)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools (Jira, Gitlab, RTC)
- Knowledge of Railway Signaling Train Control systems, CENELEC 50128, or DOORS
- Familiarity with IT Security (vulnerability testing, cryptography) or Python
