Overview

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the design and evolution of the Data Governance Platform with a strong emphasis on Collibra and platform integrations. You will mentor engineering teams, shape solution design, and drive scalable, metadata-driven automation across the enterprise. You'll work closely with product owners and platform teams to deliver on governance initiatives that enable trusted, AI-ready data.

This is a technically hands-on leadership role with impact across data, AI, and integration ecosystems.

Responsabilidades
- Lead design and implementation of capabilities on the Data Governance Platform
- Develop and extend Collibra-based solutions and integrations
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal/external engineering teams
- Build metadata-driven automation, workflows, and self-service capabilities
- Support integration of governance capabilities across the enterprise data ecosystem
- Lead technical implementation across internal and external engineering teams
- Contribute hands-on through coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and solution design
- Drive solution quality, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence
- Contribute to architecture discussions, engineering standards, and platform evolution




- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Platform Teams to deliver roadmap initiatives

Requisitos principales
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5-6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Technical Consulting, Developer Enablement, or similar role
- Strong experience in software engineering, solution design, and technical leadership in enterprise environments
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps, automation, and modern delivery approaches
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS or similar
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Quality; Collibra experience highly desirable
- Experience in Data Engineering, metadata automation, and enterprise data integration
- Proven ability to collaborate with and manage external development partners and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong influencing and communication skills to drive technical direction across teams
- Experience in large-scale, regulated enterprise environments is a plus
