The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Structural Engineer who is passionate about challenging design problems and has a strong interest in innovation, optimisation and high-quality delivery.
As a Structural Engineer at Arup, you will:
Deliver structural design calculations and packages for complex infrastructure projects
Work closely with wider Arup teams and multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, high‑quality engineering solutions.
Perform advanced structural and numerical analyses, producing calculations, drawings, specifications, and clear technical reports.
Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Contribute totechnical excellence, digital innovation, and knowledge sharing within Arup’s global structures and bridges/civil structures community
Does this role inspire you?
We also value:
A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
3-6 years’ experience in structural design on medium to large-scale infrastructure projects, including underground structures.
Experience in structural and numerical analysis using industry‑standard software.
Solidengineering judgement with planning, organisational, and time‑management skills.
Interest indigital engineering and BIM, including digital workflows for design, modelling and drawing delivery.
Knowledge of Sofistik would be a significant advantage.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.
