Offer Description
Predoctoral Researcher Position in the Cellular Oncology Group.
Job location: Biogipuzkoa Health Research Institute (Donostia-San Sebastián), Cellular Oncology
Research Group.

Duties and responsabilities:

-
- Identification of new cancer markers.
- Analyzing and comparing data against studies published by other research groups.
- Development of molecular and computational studies.
- Clinical validation of identified patterns.




- Biological validation of identified patterns in both animal models and in vitro studies on cell cultures.

ESSENTIAL:

-
- This contract is for university graduates in the areas of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and/or similar.
- A grade point average of above 7.5.

PREFERRED:

-
- Experience and knowledge in Computational biology and Bioinformatics would be desirable.
- It will be highly desirable for the candidate to have experience working in a research lab.
- Knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques will be desirable.
- Previous experience in cancer research with publications or attendance at conferences.
- Medium/high level of written and spoken English.
- *A disability certificate of 33% or higher is a plus.
