Mission of the Role
Oversee and manage the operations, expansion, and new openings of boutique hotels (luxury B&Bs;) in Barcelona and across Spain, with potential future expansion to other locations.
The Junior Operations Manager should have a strong commercial awareness and be able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities & Duties
• Oversee daily operations of our boutique hotels.
• Ensure service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss operational matters, guest feedback, service recovery actions, and staff issues, ensuring meeting minutes are sent to management.
• Identify staff training needs and support their development.
• Inspect staff and outsourced providers to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, service readiness, grooming, and hospitality culture.
• Monitor and optimize operational and overhead costs to maximize revenue.




• Ensure smooth coordination between team members and outsourced providers.
• Manage supplier/vendor relationships and conduct quarterly performance assessments.
• Oversee purchasing, stock control, and accounts payable.
• Assess customer satisfaction and manage the service recovery process.
• Provide regular internal reports to management.
• Be available 24/7 for urgent issues or emergencies.
• Be responsible for the overall management of hotel operations.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Experience & Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
• Must be based in Barcelona.
• Must be an EU citizen or hold a Spanish work visa.
