SUMMARY OF JOB

Ensure efficient and effective service delivery and assist with basic customer queries daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist walk-in customers, identifying their needs and recommending suitable paints, coatings, sundries and accessories.

• Promote in-store specials, new products and seasonal campaigns.

• Prepare quotations, process sales, returns and issue invoices as required for all channels, in a timely and efficient manner, in keeping with company policies.

• Ensure correctness of invoices and cash compared to invoices and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and submit daily sales reports.

• Ensure proper accounting of sales and cash (Reconciliations, closing of statements), including the reconciliation of POS - cash and cash equivalent at the end of each day, to ensure accuracy in reconciliation.

• Receive, check and shelf inventory; ensuring proper rotation of stock using the First in First Out (FIFO)cycle to maintain process efficiencies.

• Monitor stock levels and promptly report low or out-of-stock items to the Colour Shop Manager.

• Ensure shelves, displays, colour-card stands are organised and well merchandised, daily.
