Position Summary The Communication Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of clear and consistent internal and external communications for IREN in Spain. The role translates business priorities and technical information into accessible content that strengthens understanding of IREN’s AI Cloud platform, data center development, renewable-powered infrastructure, innovation, sustainability, and corporate initiatives across relevant communication channels.
Working within the Communications & Public Affairs Department and reporting to the Communication & Public Affairs Director, the Communication Manager coordinates communication planning, editorial content, digital and corporate channels, internal communications, brand consistency, communication support for business milestones, and performance reporting. The role works with IREN’s corporate communications team and business functions to ensure that communications are accurate, timely, audience-appropriate, and aligned with corporate standards.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Communication & Public Affairs Director, the Communication Manager is responsible for:
- Coordinate the communications plan and editorial calendar for IREN in Spain, translating departmental priorities and business milestones into timely activities, deliverables, and channel-specific content aligned with IREN’s corporate narrative and standards.
- Prepare, edit, and adapt communication materials, including website and intranet content, newsletters, corporate presentations, briefing documents, key messages, social media content, project updates, and audiovisual scripts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency for each audience.
- Manage the day-to-day publication and maintenance of content across IREN Spain’s communication channels,
coordinating approvals and updates so that information on data center projects, AI infrastructure, sustainability, innovation, and corporate developments remains current and coherent.
- Coordinate communication inputs with development, engineering, construction, operations, legal, HR, ESG, finance, commercial, and corporate communications teams, validating source information and converting complex technical or business matters into clear audience-appropriate messages.
- Support internal communication initiatives that help employees understand IREN’s strategy, projects, operating priorities, culture, and key milestones, preparing materials for leadership updates, town halls, onboarding, campaigns, and other employee communication activities.
- Monitor communication channels, content performance, audience feedback, and emerging topics relevant to IREN’s activities in Spain, preparing regular reports and identifying adjustments that improve reach, engagement, message consistency, and communication effectiveness.
- Maintain communication templates, content repositories, brand assets, approval workflows, agency deliverables, and reporting routines, helping establish an efficient and scalable communications model for IREN Spain while protecting brand and message consistency.
Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, content development, digital communications, or comparable in-house or agency environments.
- Good understanding of communication planning, editorial management, corporate messaging, internal communications, digital channels, brand consistency, content governance, and approval workflows.
- Ability to write, edit, and adapt clear, accurate, and well-structured content for corporate, digital, technical, and employee audiences while maintaining the appropriate tone, terminology, and level of detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with content management systems, intranet platforms, email communication tools, social media publishing, analytics, or reporting dashboards will be positively valued.
- Strong writing, editing, coordination, stakeholder management, judgement, confidentiality, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage concurrent deliverables and work effectively across multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Native or excellent Spanish and professional English are required; experience in infrastructure, energy, technology, data centers, AI, or high-growth international environments will be positively valued.

- Compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
